Newsletter June 30, 2007: Welcome to the web pages for the IEEE Technical Committee on Industrial Process Control, which covers chemical, semiconductor, materials, pharmaceutical, and electrochemical processes. The committee members contribute to the organization and programming for conferences and symposia, in concert with other organizations such as IFAC, and promote control research in challenging process applications areas. Many control journals have a committee member serving as an editor or associate editor, e.g., Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Journal of Process Control, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, and Optimal Control Applications and Methods. Membership on the Technical Committee on Industrial Process Control is open to all members of the IEEE Control Systems Society. If you are interested in joining, then click here. The next meeting of the TC IPC will be at 11:30 am on Friday, July 13, 2007.
